Las Colinas Golf & Country Club
This exclusive golf resort is located a short drive from Guardamar del Segura and offers a championship layout surrounded by stunning scenery. Designed by renowned architect Cabell B. Robinson, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club combines natural beauty with an exciting challenge for the most discerning golfers. Its 18 holes feature the 14th, a par 3 surrounded by hazards, a lake on the left, bunkers, and a rocky estuary protecting the entrance.
Vistabella Golf
Located about 20 minutes from Guardamar, Vistabella Golf is an 18-hole golf course designed by Manuel Piñeiro (former world champion) that offers a unique golf experience in a peaceful and picturesque setting. With its wide fairways and undulating greens, this course is perfect for players of all levels looking to enjoy a relaxing round surrounded by nature. Special mention goes to Hole 13, a par 4 that’s not excessively long but presents some difficulty, as any shot to the right of the fairway will fall into the water, and the green is protected by a large bunker in front and to the left.
Villamartín Golf
Another notable golf course in the area is Villamartín Golf, known for its challenging layout and welcoming atmosphere. With its spectacular location and first-class facilities, Villamartín Golf is an excellent choice for golfers looking to enjoy a unique experience on the Costa Blanca. The 17th hole is the iconic par 3, with a challenging 200-meter stretch from the back tee to an extremely undulating green. The tee shot crosses a deep, tree-lined ravine that protects the hole and presents a challenge for most players.
La Finca Golf
A golf course with wide, generous fairways and spectacular greens, it has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments at both amateur and professional levels since its opening. This golf course has 18 holes and a multitude of services, including a caddy master, luggage storage, buggies, electric carts, club rental, buggy par, changing rooms, and a pro shop.
Las Ramblas Golf
With a rugged landscape, wide, fast, and gently sloping greens, its trees provide plenty of play to the course, making it a challenge for players. It has 18 holes, with special mention to Hole 9 (Par 4 and HCP 12), a hole with views of the sea from the tee.
Campoamor Royal Golf Club
Opened in 1988 by HRH Juan de Borbón, Count of Barcelona, after whom the championship, held annually in August, is named. With a 6,277-meter, par-72 course, it offers players a well-maintained surface enhanced by lush flora and fauna. With 18 holes and services such as club and buggy rentals and practice greens, we would like to make special mention of Hole 9 (Par 4 Hcp 1).
Lo Romero Golf
Also known as the “Golf Island” of the Spanish east coast since its opening, the 18th green is practically surrounded by water, giving the player a greater sense of self-reliance when making the final putt. Lo Romero is a par 72 course, divided into four par 5s, ten par 4s, and four par 3s. The course plays 6,082 meters from the yellow holes and 5,276 meters from the red holes. With water on 13 of the 18 holes and 56 strategically placed bunkers, this golf course is perfect for golfers.
